# Compactlogix connection

We are trying to connect to a compact logix processor - 1769-L33ER in order to set up a demo for a potential client. We currently connect via an ewon modem on a VPN. I can bring up the processor on RSLinx lite and get online using ecatcher (Ewon software) on my PC in the office. This is what I want to connect to. We want to show the customer what we can do with Induction but need to use this conneection for now. Any assistance would be appreciated!

As long as you can reach the PLC over VPN from wherever the gateway is (try pinging it) it shouldn’t be any different than if it was local.
