I have a Perspective project in an Amazon AWS EC2 instance. I can connect to the designer just fine.

When i go to open a specific Perspective screen in the designer it just remains in the "connecting" state.

Also when I open some of the screens I get the following error:

I recently exported this project from 8.1.35 and imported it into 8.1.47.

Is this a corruption issue with the project or something else? Any insight is appreciated.

I'm guessing there's a more fundamental underlying problem. Can you get a full export of the client logs (or send it in to support)?

Export OS: Windows 10
Import OS: Linux

Yes, I have full access to the gateway and underlying EC2 instance which I forgot to mention is running Linux as the OS.

We started configuring this late last week. Do you think support is the best path to go?

Support might be easiest. I suspect you've just got a JxBrowser initialization problem; that would be entirely "client" side (wherever your designer is running) - maybe an overzealous IT block or something. It's odd that it's only happening on _some_ views and not all, but support could help isolate things and troubleshoot more in depth.

Yes, this customer requires whitelists for everything. We opened port 8088 but nothing else.
