# Connecting to Modicon PLCs Via OFS

Hi , I'm currently trying to make a connection between Ignition Gateway and OFS Factory Server to read data from Modicon M580 to Ignition SCADA. But after creating the OPC connection , The status is shown as faulted. How to solve this . Is there is any other way to connect Modicon PLC with Ignition SCADA ?

You could try creating a modbus connection direct from ignition to your plc, using the OFS config for reference.

I tried but couldn't able to match the address with PLC
