Hello guys,

We are trying to connect to ProConOS OPC Server 2.1 by KW-Software GmbH

We are using OPC-DA type of connection. The status is always “Connecting”.

What is going on?

Hello,

Is your connection allready up?
I have the same issue, can’t get the ProConos OPC connection running.
If it is working on your side, can you please tell me the settings for this connection?
Regards,
Werner

Hello,

Yes, we managed to connect.
It turns out that we were neded to configure DCOM settings (ODMV3) for our OPC server. Guys told me that both Ignition server and ODMV3 (Online-Data-Manager Version 3) needed to be started with the same user.
