Hi,

If I create a database connection through the gateway and log tags using INSERT command to the SQL and fetch back to SCADA using SQL query. Does it call for a SQL bridge license?

Not if you do this in code. If you’re comfortable with coding you can replicate most of what the SQL Bridge module does.
