I have some paths I’ve created but there are extra vertices that I need to delete. How do I do this? Going into edit mode selecting the vertices and pressing delete deletes the whole object. Can’t see anything in the right click or any other menu. ---

Not sure why this was locked; but for anyone’s future reference, after you’ve created a path you can use the ‘Path’ tool to remove particular vertices. This is located along the shape toolbar, which defaults to the far-right–hand side of the screen. Once you have this tool active and a shape selected, you can click particular vertices on a path, which will highlight them in blue.
