Hello,

I am experiencing an issue on a project where almost all the tags for central server users will look at are coming from other gateways on the gateway network as a remote tag providers. Unfortunately, some of the connections to these gateways are not great so the tags drop in an out, as expected. The issue I am running into with this is that if I have one of these tag providers selected in the tag browser within a designer when the connection goes down, the entire designer becomes unusable. The tag browser displays a “Loading” message until the connection is restored and I continually get com.inductiveautomation.ignition.client.gateway\_interface.GatewayException: Read timed out error messages popping up.

Is there a way to isolate the attempted tag provider reads from whatever else I am working on in the designer at the time?
