# Designer refresh when saving

Hello,

We are using three Ignition gateways with the same version (8.1.44). On one of them, I’m experiencing the phenomenon where, whenever I save in the Designer, it closes all the expanded folders (Scripting, Perspective, Named Queries, etc.). This becomes quite annoying over time, especially when working with many containers within a view. I don’t know what’s causing this since, as mentioned, it only happens on one gateway. Is this a gateway setting, or does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

Do you have any Sepasoft modules installed?

Yes. This only happens with Sepasoft modules installed. However, the Sepasoft team fixed it in the Aug 2025 maintenance release on MES 3.0 (on 8.1). We also ported the fix to MES 4.0 (on 8.3). Thanks.

Which version would that be?

On the gateway that has the issue we have 3.81.11 in Trial:

On the other gateways that are working normally, we use 3.81.7:

Nevermind,

i found the release notes, i wasn’t paying attention to the Service Pack. It should have been fixed with 3.81.11 SP8.
