# Designer\>\>tools\>launch project doesnt work

hi all,

I am trying to launch the project it just gives me a blank screen could anyone please help with this.

You have to set some number of windows to open automatically on startup. Right-click the window you choose in the project browser and select `Open on Startup`. Then close and relaunch the project. (Saving and updating an already open project will not work.)

You can have multiple windows opening on startup, but I recommend only one ‘Main Window.’
