# Designer Window Freeze \[Windows 10/Server 2012 R2\]

I created a few Vision windows with basic non-scripting functionality. When I tried to access them later in the Designer, it freezes immediately with a loading circle in the top right; it happens on almost all windows. I then have to force kill the process. I can launch all screens without issue in the Vision client.

I exported the project and tried it on multiple Ignition versions and machines. It happens on all Windows installs of 8, 8.0.1, and 8.0.2. (Separate Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012 R2 machines). There are no issues when I open the Designer in a Linux install however.

This should be fixed in an upcoming nightly build. As a workaround, try closing the Designer Launcher application once the designer is actually open.
