# Different tag paths for historical and realtime tags

After upgrading from V7 to 8.1, some of my templates are not working any more. The tag path differs for realtime and historical:  
Realtime: `[prov]path/to/tag`  
Historical: `[prov/gateway:prov]path/to/tag`  
In older Ignition versions, i could use the same path for historical and realtime. Is there a new ‘feature’ in 8.1 i am missing or was there probably a problem during the upgrade?
