Ladies, Gents.

Whats the best method to distribute the project among colleagues for them to log into on their computer? We also want to share the project with clients.

Currently for test purposes I give them the Host IP address, they then download the client launcher, add the IP address again and they see a list of projects.

We don’t want to let the client see the ignition back end web page or what projects are available. Is it possible to just send them a direct link to the project since web start has been disabled?

Thankyou.

I was able to get some users to upgrade from Java 6 \> 7, but then after going Ignition 7.8 \> 7.9 the clients cant launch. There are tons of areas of Java caches and it seemly takes hours per system to find them all for our IT folks. Any other advice besides NCL? I like WebStart for the user convenience, but I am sick of it causing us downt…
