# Documentation falsely claims "time" as available option for pickerType in DateTime Picker Component

[BUG] Perspective Datetimepicker Pickertype property only allows date or datetime although the manual states that time only should also be an option. Time is not selectable on the property value drop down menu, and produces an error when entered manually.

That an error in the documentation, not the component. I’ll reach out the the doc team. The DateTime Picker component only allows for either “date” or “datetime” as picker types. If you want “time” only, you should use the DateTime Input instead.
