Hello, i use ignition 8.3.4 perspective. For my scada screens, i need to draw a single line electrical diagram but i dont see the line, breaker and so on in symbols. Is it possile to do it?

You can make the symbols as SVGs and embed them on the screens

To elaborate, I would recommend using Inkscape to draw these symbols as SVGs and import them into Ignition using the "embed image" option, not the default "save and link". Save and Link will not let you bind the styling of the SVG elements.

You can find examples of these SVG symbols through googling, but ultimately you want the SVG to be as simple as possible when you embed it into Ignition to make your life easier. e.g. as few groups as possible, remove the default Inkscape "layer"

And/or you can use [Perspective Drawings Tools](https://www.docs.inductiveautomation.com/docs/8.3/appendix/components/perspective-components/perspective-display-palette/perspective-drawing) to draw a simple element.

I do not see how to import the svg from files.

The problem with drawing is the container. It is not just a component but component with container. As image below

Just drag the SVG onto the view, I don't think there's a menu item for it.

This is what an _SVG_ is. It's a drawing on a canvas. Did you set your canvas (viewbox) correctly?

Edit: If I'm honest though, I would stick to Inkscape. You're _very_ limited in what you can do with the inbuilt drawing tools, and some of the workflow is.. interesting

I can not choose svg file. In right file explorer from ignition designer and left import

You're clicking file - \> import, that's not _dragging an SVG file onto a perspective view._

As in, open a View in the designer, then open Windows File Explorer (for windows obviously), find your svg, click and drag it onto the open perspective view

File \> Import is used to import project backups, nothing else.
