# Drop Configuration (action path)

Hello,

I need help and advice with using the **Drop Configuration** function with **action set to path**

Currently, with my symbols, I have a "PARAMS" which contains the "path" :

`MNEMONICS : INS/TM03S1/FR02/RTE200`

Then I use appropriate expression for binding :

`tag("[Provider_SDA]TAGS/" + {view.params.MNEMONIC} + "/minOut.value") + " " + tag("[Provider_SDA]TAGS/" + {view.params.MNEMONIC} + "/minOut.engunit")`

That is ok, but now, I'm trying to do the same with Drop Configuration. **I suppose the path action in drop configuration** allows us to do something similar to what we're doing now with MNEMONIC ? If yes that would be Fun.

Could you confirm ?

Actually, I don't know how to retrieve the **path value** that should be set automatically when Drop ?

I would be grateful if someone could help me on this subject because the documentation is not explicit enough :
