Using Ignition Version 8.1.48 and Vision Module Version 11.1.48

I created a Drop Down List and I am using it to sort data for a Vision Report.

The binding for this drop down list is a simple SQL query.

AS I said above, works as intended in the Designer. On the Vision Client this component is Red and has the Database issue icon.

Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you.

Use a named query for Vision, for security.

If you must, enable legacy database permissions in the project properties.

Thank you pturmel. Using the Named Query allows this component to work as intended.

Out of curiosity, I just looked at the Gateway → Projects→ Selected this Project→ hit the Edit button

I don’t see any settings that is described as Legacy Database Permissions.

Am I looking in the wrong place to enable legacy database permissions?

These permissions are in the designer, not on the gateway.

All of these were disabled when I first opened this window. I looked back on an old project and they were all selected so I selected them all for this project.
