# E-mail PDF report

Hello,

I would like to generate a PDF report and have it sent via email whenever a button is pressed. From what I can see, it seems that reports can only be scheduled for automatic delivery, not triggered manually by a button.

I assume there may be a way to achieve this, so I would greatly appreciate any guidance.

Youre going to want to use the [System functions](https://www.docs.inductiveautomation.com/docs/8.3/appendix/scripting-functions/system-report) in particular execute and distribute as an onClick event for the button
