# Easy Chart - Changing Tooltip color

Hello,  
I have searched the forums for an issue on a Easy Chart in the Vision Module of Ignition ( [Easy Chart Pen ToolTips - Ignition - Inductive Automation Forum](https://forum.inductiveautomation.com/t/easy-chart-pen-tooltips/52636/6)) . I am trying to change the tooltip text and background color to white text with black background, but I am unable to do it.

This is what I have configured (database pens on an Easy Chart) (dynamic pens on windows opening)

This is the kind of tooltip I would like:

Can you show a picture of the current tool tip? I'm not sure what part of the easy chart you are wanting to change.

I was confused because those aren't tool tips. Search for [XYTextAnnotations](https://www.jfree.org/jfreechart/api/javadoc/org/jfree/chart/annotations/XYTextAnnotation.html) in the forum, and you will probably find some examples of how to manipulate or simulate the xTrace labels.
