# Easy Chart Mouse Wheel Zoom

I’d like the mouse wheel to zoom in and out on the domain axis of an easy chart when in pan mode. I found a post where folks accessed the ChartPanel object and called methods [here](https://forum.inductiveautomation.com/t/get-easy-chart-axis-properties/12472?).

I tried to implement this with this property change script in the easy chart but no luck so far:

```auto
if event.propertyName == 'data':
	self = event.source

	self.setMouseWheelEnabled(True)

```
