Dear All,

I need to find a way for asking for user and password when changing value in input field and when changing the value of a button.

The problem is I am quite new to perspective and I do not know how to focus this approach.

I have read this article [Native Electronic Signature Support – A Breakthrough for 21 CFR Part 11 Compliance | Inductive Automation](https://www.inductiveautomation.com/blog/native-electronic-signature-support-a-breakthrough-for-21-cfr-part-11-compliance) and a solution like the one explained on it would suit perfectly my needs. Is there anywhere I can download this solution to see how it has been implemented?

Thank You

I think you use `system.perspective.authenticationChallange()`
[system.perspective.authenticationChallenge - Ignition User Manual 8.1 - Ignition Documentation (inductiveautomation.com)](https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/display/DOC81/system.perspective.authenticationChallenge)

You do it by asking a new question - not by hijacking one with the Perspective tag.
