# Error Launching the Application?

Hello all, i am getting below error.  
Error launching application:  
Runtime Exception: The client version or cached module  
versions are not compatible with the gateway version.  
Please re-launch the client.

how and what were you doing?  
also seems like there is a mismatch in versions of your modules, did you update something?

What version of client launcher are you using, vs what version of Ignition are you trying to launch?

We got to the bottom of it in the end. In our build.gradle.kts file we used GCD. Turns out we didn’t need the C and this is what was causing the issue.
