# Export tag history from one database to another database

Hi,

I have historical tags in one data base that I would like to replicate in another database.

Is it possible to copy tag history from one data base to the other?

It is possible but difficult to do within Ignition via scripting. And slow, I would expect. A database export/import operation using DB-specific tools is the proper solution.
