Hi,

Currently we have created a main window and the tag values are directly bound to text fields. However, client is asking us to export the data (the whole screen data) as pdf. Is it possible to export the screen layout as pdf using a button like ‘export’?

Please help me in resolving this issue. Thanks.

This is old, but nobody has responded to it yet........

So, for any other user who wants this kind of thing, or just doesn't need all the features of the reporting module, you might try using the methods described there to get the screenshot and print it:

Then only that monitor should send the screen to printed (to a physical printer) with all the pop ups, headers, footers visible. I have found how to create a screenshot but it creates a BufferedImage but to print you need a component. In Jython is there a way to convert a BufferedImage to a component?

And then set the printer to like a PDF printer.
