Hello.
Is there a way to export reports to excel files(not csv)?
I know that there is functions that allow to export datasets to excel files. But there is a need to make a report with possibility to save it in excel table with united columns and united header columns. Is there a way to realise such functionality?

It’s not currently possible (except maybe through a series of steps in scripting involving csv as an intermediate form?).

However, it could be added to 7.8 if there’s enough demand. I’d suggest adding this to [ideas.inductiveautomation.com](http://ideas.inductiveautomation.com/forums/255378-ignition-features-and-ideas) and voting it up if you think it’s useful.

You should also take a look at the tools in the [Kymera Office Document Module](http://marketplace.inductiveautomation.com/moduledetail?moduleId=73) and the [PA Office Document Module](http://marketplace.inductiveautomation.com/moduledetail?moduleId=89).
