I have to show a tag value in a popup window.
It seems that the expression function tag() is very slow (10-12 sec) to get the value compared to a direct binding one (2-3 sec).
I’m using Ignition 7.6.7 and a Subscribed scan class (5 sec for a fast read).
I’m sure the is computed immediately.
Where can be the slowness?
Thank you

Which delay time shoud I expect from the initialization of a template to the visualization of a tag value inside it?
Consider a remote client and a MEM tag.
Thank you
