# Failed to launch project (java certification error)

Hello IA team,

We need your help on this error we are getting when launching projects from our clients.

Ignition gateway Ver 7.7.2  
java version “1.8.0\_31”  
Java™ SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0\_31-b13)  
Java HotSpot™ 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.31-b07, mixed mode)

Fortunately without doing anything on the clients, got rid of the error.  
I also tried to reinstall Java 8, but the error persist yesterday.  
Right now, we are able to launch applications on our clients.

Will keep you posted if ever we encounter this issue again.

Do let us know if you found a solution that isn’t tedious.
