# \[FB14584\] UDT parameters are disappearing when UDT instance is created

After importing my UDTs from 7.9, I noticed I was missing some of the alarms on a member tag in some of them. The UDTs in question derive from a multi level inheritance tree, where alarms are added at each different level. It seems that the child UDT only inherits the alarms added in it’s immediate parent data type. Any that were added higher in the inheritance tree are gone.

I built a test udt tree and was replicate this behavior from scratch in 8.0.3-rc2, to rule out something strange happening in the import from 7.9.

To further assist you could you please send an export of the 7.9 UDT tags that are displaying the problem?

This issue was fixed in the 8.0.4 nightly build that was uploaded on 8/9.
