# \[Feature-13538\]Dynamic Number Format Pattern

Is it possible to make the “Format Pattern” bindable to a property or tag? I have a reusable view that takes numbers with different formats needed and it would be nice to use the transform on the tag bind. Probably could get it done with a script transform but this window is nice and easy so it would be better to just bind a tag to the format pattern. Or perhaps I am missing something.

Update on the ticket - we’re not going to implement a dynamic option here - just use an expression transform and the `numberFormat()` expression if you need something dynamic.
