# \[Feature-13764\] \[perspective\] add nullFormat options to table column properties

If a table returns null data from let’s say an outer join query it would be nice to format the null like in the reporting module.  
table.props.column.nullFormat or even a table.props.nullFormat to apply across all columns.

The main reason for this request is when we defined column properties the table starts to show _null_ in the table cells. If no columns are defined the cells are _blank_ which is good.

I’ve put in a ticket to see about the possibility of getting this feature added in the future. I will let you know when I find out more.

Did this feature ever make it into Perspective? I’d also like to prevent null being written to every cell.

Any update on this? Finding almost every table, I need to reformat null values…
