# \[Feature-4046\] Time series chart custom units

Hi all 🙂

Anyone knows how to apply custom units for values showing in the xTrace infoBox?  
We would like to have e.g. ‘kg’, ‘mbar’ or any custom unit added to the values inside the time series info box.

The user manual refers to this link on how to format the data property: [http://numeraljs.com/](http://numeraljs.com/)

Have tried changing the input in the “dataFormat” property, giving us different results with percent, currency mode etc. But have not yet succeeded with custom units… Must be something simple we have overlooked?

This is currently a known limitation and there is a feature request for this internally. There is likely no way to achieve this until the feature is added.
