# \[FEATURE\] Perspective: Allow editing of property values that are too long to show in field

v8.0.15

As in Vision, it would be great if we could directly edit the property values in Perspective that are too long to show in the field and that show ellipses, rather than having to click the ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/inductiveautomation/original/3X/2/1/2192c0d71864a956279c0815580c2eec9df4fa92.png) icon. It’s minor, but I’m finding it a bit annoying compared to Vision.
