v8.1.22

Maybe this has changed in later versions, but I just realised that, unless you add an axis for each eng unit (arguably you should always do this.. however if users are adding tags to the trend and they don't know the units, then this is an issue) there's no way to see the eng units for pens displayed in the power chart..

This should be available in the x-trace values as well as a selectable column in the pen table

I am experiencing similar issue. @nminchin - you mentioned,
unless you add an axis for each eng unit (arguably you should always do this.
I created an axis for each pen, but I do not see the Eng Unit next to the value on the chart. Can you kindly explain or am I missing configuration steps?

It's still missing functionality

I believe Nick was meaning that you should name the axis as the Eng Unit. That way in the table under axis instead of it saying default, it will say something like PSI, or GPM.

I am running 8.3.0, as far as I can see this is still not an option. Any known workarounds available?

Kind regards,
Teun

There is a resource in Exchange that shows an easy way to automatically add tag descriptions and engineering units to a pen when it’s added to a powerchart. Here’s the link

I am still looking for a way to have the Engineering Units into the Powerchart tool. Ideally in a column aligned with each tag/pen added. If anyone has been able to do it, feel free to let me know.

There’s a lot missing with the power chart tool 🙃
