# File retrieval from database using WebDev Module

Except with the PDF viewer in Perspective... you need to use the WebDev module or @pturmel blob server: [Automation Professionals' Blob Server Module](https://forum.inductiveautomation.com/t/automation-professionals-blob-server-module/57970)
