# Flooded logs: "Error notifying tag change structure."

Any ideas? It corresponded with a massive uptick in heap memory. Fortunately it wasn’t on a production gateway so a quick restart fixed the issue.

We are seeing the same problem:

- **Ignition version:** 8.0.16 (b2020082513)
- **Operating System:** Linux | amd64
- **Java Version:** 11.0.7+10-LTS

One clue might be that we have our own module that calls [com.inductiveautomation.ignition.gateway.tags.managed.ManagedTagProvider.configureTag()](https://files.inductiveautomation.com/sdk/javadoc/ignition81/8.1.1/com/inductiveautomation/ignition/gateway/tags/managed/ManagedTagProvider.html#configureTag(java.lang.String,com.inductiveautomation.ignition.common.sqltags.model.types.DataType)) often – was wondering if this might be part of the issue.

Getting the same thing in 8.1.22 😕
