I'm trying to use the gateway API to run an EAM function, specifically _eam-tasks \> force task execution_. The link to the docs for this function is here:

I have been experimenting with a few different "owner" parameter values (eam-tasks, gatewaynetwork, etc), looking through the rest of the API documentation to find other instances of "owners" or "systems", and trying some _get_ functions to see if those would return examples of that parameter, but I can't seem to find values that should be supplied here.

The _name_ parameter is pretty self-explanatory - it's just _owner_ that's giving me some issues.

A quick examination of the codebase suggests the only value which would work for your use-case is "eam". The param is apparently not just hard-coded as "eam" because it's intended to be extensible. Unfortunately, that doesn't become clear until there are other locations which use it and document the same pattern.

So your usage would collapse into something like this:

`/data/eam/api/v1/eam-tasks/force/eam/{name}`

Using this owner name worked, thank you! One important side note: I had gateway read and write permissions set for the security level that this particular key is assigned to. I did not specify designer permissions though, and I was getting an access denied error. After including designer permissions for the security level the key is assigned to, it worked successfully.
