Following a brand-new fresh installation of Inductive Automation Ignition 8.1.44 JAVA 17 on a system which had previously never been installed with Inductive Automation Ignition, we found that not all the JDBC drivers were successfully installed.

There were 2 which failed are:

MySQL
Oracle Database

Although we're not using these two JDBC drivers with our deployment, I'm not going to lie, this is slightly concerning. Also, not sure as to whether this may point to further issues with the installation.

Has anyone ever experienced this previously?

Anyone any thoughts on how to resolve this or what may have happened?

Many thanks one and all for any feedback.

Due to the licenses for those JDBC drivers, IA does not include them. They must be installed afterwards by yourself if you want to utilize them.

Ah, so someone has likely been involved with the project previously and has done this on the version we're upgrading from in that case.

Thanks for the heads up!
