# Gateway Crashing when passing view parameter

Just some clarification: is the Gateway crashing, or is the session being disconnected? Your posts lead me to believe you’re only experiencing a session disconnect, which is far less worrisome than your Gateway actually going down. I’m reaching out to Dev to determine where this websocket max “message size” property is configured, or if it even can be configured.
