# Gateway netwrok limits and required modues

We have a central gateway where we need to read data like tag values, alarms etc. from multiple remote gateways.

Is there any limit w.r.t. number of incoming/outgoing connections that can be configured on single gateways or number of remote tag providers that single gateway can have?I believe there is a performance limit of 250K tags on a single gateway, does it include tags from remote tag provides as well?

Remote gateway does not have a DB server, so to store historical data from central gateway, which gateway Tag Historian module should be installed on ?Similarly, which gateway will have Alarm Notification Module?
