# GC overhead limit exceeded

Hi guys,

Do you have any idea how to prevent this error from happening?  
We have one client running on a computer for almost a month now, and this suddenly happened.

Hi Ella,

Based on that exception error, I’m guessing you have a Dell.

Toaster.exe is Part of Dell Datasafe Local Backup. Personally, I never use it since I use Acronis. Getting rid of it won’t do any harm.

The GC (Garbage Collection) overhead limit: You’re running out of memory to run the process smoothly. Or looking at it another way, it’s spending too much time garbage collecting with too little results. Try giving the client more memory.

Are the two related? Probably not.
