# Get user on the Gateway for a RPC call

Hello,

I am trying to a create an audit record, but I could not figure out how I can get the user that orginated the rpc call from the ClientReqSession. Is there an easy way to get that information? Or is there a way to get the gateway to create an AuditRecord with all these details prefilled?
