# Hide message box

is there a way to close the system gui message box after after a few seconds so the operator doesnt have to press OK, or do I need to make my own message window?

Nope. However instead you can use your own popup that has that functionality

You shouldn’t use them anyways–they stop all UI operations while open.

I solved using a label and hiding it after 3 seconds. Thanks!
