# Historical data replay

Hello,

I want to ask if Ignition have buil-in historical data replay function. I need to build displays which can show system states in past data.  
If not, I am open to any suggestion how to develop this function.

I use Ignition 8 most recent patch.

If you want to do this in Vision, we use Tamaki’s Plant Replay module which works really well, and they have a version which works in version 8. [https://www.plantreplay.com](https://www.plantreplay.com)
