While working in 8.1.1 and adding some IP Camera Viewers to a project, I noticed there’s no native way to mirror/rotate the camera viewer.

Is there a way to achieve this, or something I’m overlooking?

@paul-griffith’s solution worked for me in 7.9.x

It’s unfortunate that this isn’t a native control. There are countless other graphics, broadcasting, web, and other applications that can do this natively and on-the-fly without some complicated or scripted workaround.
