# How do I get data from machine via Ignition

Hello everybody,

we have a such machine here, the communication topology is shown in the following picture. This machine has been connected to a PC with WINCC via profibus DP.

we now want to connect the machine via CP443-1 on ignition. I'm not sure if that's posible. Thanks.
