Hi All
I am trying to deepen my understanding of ignition and the sequential function charts. Could you please help me and share your knowledge/experience?
1 what are unique features that sequential function chart brings?
2 can sequential function chart be compared to the operation of the PLC (of course simplified comparison) ie. we have guaranteed flow of the logic without surprises.
3 if the logic is not complicated can sequential function chart be replaced by using gateway time trigged event? this will trigger the code in timely manner.
4 anything else worth knowing about the sequential function charts?
