# How to Batch Add Multiple Users to a Role in Ignition

Hi everyone,

I've created a role in Ignition and I need to add a bunch of users to it. Is there an easier way to do this in batch instead of adding each user one by one? Any tips or suggestions would be really appreciated!

Check out the `system.user` functions: [system.user | Ignition User Manual](https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/docs/8.1/appendix/scripting-functions/system-user)

You'll want to use `system.user.getUser` and `system.user.editUser` on each user in the user source to add a role.
