# How to Change Local Time in Ignition Gateway

Hello Guys , I have an issue with the Local time i want to change it. See Below.

I found some information how to change it from the ignition.conf file . but my config file looks like this in the Java Additional Parameters

Note that my Designer is installed on windows and the gateway is installed in Linux.

You can add `wrapper.java.additional.X=-Duser.timezone=America/Los_Angeles` to your `Ignition.conf` to change the timezone. Note the `X` after additional, you need to change that to whatever number parameter is next, in your case it looks like 7. After adding this you have to restart your gateway.

This is the perfect solution for all the disalignments of the components, and project settings. Works even when developing on docker containers
