Hello,
I have a question what is the best way to exchange data between Gateway IO Ignition?

I have several IO servers and a Frontend to display perspectiv and connect to IO servers providing tags. Sometimes there is a need for one of the IO servers to take tags from another IO server. Then it doesn't work with reference because they can only refer to their providers. What is the best way to do this? Do I necessarily need to make connections between IO servers like I do between IO and Frontend?

Best regards,
Michał

Yes, you need a remote tag provider (if using the GAN), another OPC client connection, or an MQTT topic to pull tags of interest where they are needed.
