# How to launch a vision project from a perspective web page

Hi, team,

I have seen the training video that we can launch a vision project from a perspective website, but after watched that , i still donot know how to do that, what is the scrip behind.

system.perspective.navigate(url=’vision://Gateway/projectName’) can’t do that.

You have to install the Client Launcher from v8.3. This is a new feature.

(Every client that will use this needs to install this client launcher.)

You will need to install the client launcher (implicitly meaning you must be on a platform support by the client launcher, meaning a mainstream desktop OS on a common architecture),  
**and** you must at least once tell your browser that it can use the `Vision Client Launcher` application to open links with the `vision://` custom protocol.

Once you have opted _in_ to these things, it's ~seamless, but these are required speedbumps to prevent malicious websites from running arbitrary native executables and causing any kind of harm to your system.
