# How to learn laddering program with Ignition?

If you're referring to PLC programming using Ladder diagrams, there are several online courses and tutorials elaborating on that. Ignition is primarily a SCADA design software used to visualize and display data from the PLC. You won't use Ignition to program the torque characteristic of asynchronous motors, for example, you do that directly in the PLC and use Ignition to visualize what you've created.
